Science IX
Science – Science is the pursuit and application of knowledge and understanding of the natural and social world following a systematic methodology based on evidence. There are three main branches of science:- 1) Physics – Physics is a natural science that studies matter , its fundamental constituents , its motion and behavior through space and time and the related entities of energy and force. Physics is one of the most fundamental scientific disciplines and its main goal is to understand how the universe behaves. 2) Chemistry – Chemistry is the science that deals with the composition , structure and properties of substances and with the transformations that they undergo. 3) Biology – Biology is the study of living organisms divided into many specialized fields that cover their morphology , physiology , anatomy , behavior , origin and distribution.
